Safeguarding Children Webinar

26 Aug 2022 by Fiona Underwood

New Child Safe Standards became operational on 1 July 2022 and all clubs are required to legally comply with these Standards. A number of webinars were run throughout March – May 2022 on how to implement the new requirements, alongside educational safeguarding sessions and a host of resources to support your club.

The scheduled webinar next week on Tuesday, August 30 provides an opportunity for clubs to touch base and discuss progress, ask questions and identify gaps/challenges with implementation of the Child Safe Standards.

To ensure you gain the most useful and practical information from the webinar, please submit any questions you may have in advance of the webinar to childsafety@afl.com.au (no later than Monday, August 29).
